DUCKDIVE organizes children into 2 learning groups:
Beginner
Progression
The lessons:
Take place at Praia do Castelo, according to the surfer’s level.
Have an average duration of 2 hours.
Include all the necessary equipment for surfing.
Group lessons with 1 coach / maximum 4 children.
Each level has very specific structured goals, and the student only moves to the next level once all learning stages have been completed.

For the 18th consecutive year, Duckdive will be running these Leisure Time Activities in partnership with holiday camps organized by Parish Councils, Schools, and Private Colleges – a First Surf Experience, for children aged 4 to 14 years old.
This is a personalized program designed for younger groups from Parish Councils (beach/countryside), primary schools, and private colleges, who visit the beaches of Costa de Caparica during the Spring and Summer school holidays, allowing them to have their first contact with surfing and its sporting activity.
Dates: March to October 2026
Ages: 4 to 14 years old
Availability: Monday to Friday – from 9:00 AM
Lesson duration: Maximum of 2 hours
